In this workshop, participants will be able to enhance their clinical skills in advanced dermoscopy fields such as onychoscopy, advanced Inflammoscopy and entomodermoscopy with techniques for early detection of precancerous and skin conditions. short interactive lectures, case-based learning and educational case simulation quizzes are designed to enhance skill acquisition. Final EDSC championship will take place at the end of the workshop using online interactive platform to ensure automated and fair competition.

Objectives:

  • Enhance knowledge and skills in dermoscopy diagnostic techniques of Nails including NAPSI
  • Augment dermoscopy skills in diagnosis of common inflammatory skin diseases and infections
  • Develop dermoscopy techniques for early detection of common precancerous and locally malignant skin conditions

“Hello Google! Can you tell me possible causes for my acne?” Eventually, Dr. Google will be consulted on spot. The question is: How can you, healthcare practitioner, be part of this new medical world?

This lecture will explore the digital patient in dermatology and the integration of social media and digital apps in the clinical practice. Some facts will be shared that support the importance and impact of this new channel on the daily medical practice.
