After qualifying in medicine from the University of Edinburgh, I obtained my CCT in dermatology in 2003. I undertook a post CCT fellowship in paediatric dermatology. Since then I have been a consultant dermatologist with a keen interest in paediatric dermatology based in an NHS tertiary referral centre in the Northeast of England.
