Dr. Nellie Konnikov is a dermatologist with experience in clinical and academic roles. She earned her M.D. from Moscow Medical School, followed by advanced dermatology training in Moscow. Dr. Konnikov completed her residency and chief residency in dermatology at the Boston University-Tufts University Combined Program.
Currently, she serves as Professor of Clinical Dermatology at both Boston University and Tufts University. Since 2004, she has been Chief of Dermatology at the VA Boston Healthcare System. Dr. Konnikov is also a leader in international dermatology, holding the position of President of the International Society of Dermatology. She has contributed significantly to dermatology through various committee roles, including chairing the International Affairs Committee of the American Academy of Dermatology and holding leadership positions in numerous dermatological societies globally.
