Dr. Suzy has qualified in medicine (MBChB, BSc Hons) from Edinburgh University in 1994 She obtained her CCT in Dermatology in 2003 and subsequently undertook a 1-year fellowship in paediatric dermatology. She has since worked in both paediatric and adult dermatology at the RVI as a consultant since 2006. Working in a tertiary centre has allowed her to become experienced in managing complex dermatology conditions in patients with underlying disorders such as rare immunodeficiencies, patients undergoing stem cell and organ transplantation, and patients with complex vascular malformations. Her service offers combined multidisciplinary expertise clinics in vascular malformations, paediatric allergy/dermatology, paediatric melanocytic lesions, paediatric dermatology/rheumatology, dermatology/genetics in addition to twice yearly epidermolysis bullosa clinics alongside the Birmingham Paediatric Epidermolysis Bullosa service.
