Dr. Fatema Khamdan is a consultant dermatologist and dermatopathologist at Salmaniya medical complex. She is board certified in dermatology and venereology. She finished the international program of dermatopathology fellowship at medical university of South Carolina (MUSC) in USA and currently assistant professor at the same institute. Dr. Khamdan is an official social media editor of Journal of American Academy of Dermatology (JAAD). She is also a member of the editorial board at same journal. Dr. Khamdan was former STRP and FPRP training coordinator at Salmaniya medical complex. Moreover, she was a tutor at Arabian Gulf University. In addition, she was a speaker of many workshops and education lectures for student, GP, nurses and dermatology residents. Dr. Khamdan is the author of the f first children’s storybook, highlighting the dermatological condition Alopecia Areata “I defeated the fox”.
