Alistair Robson

Dr. Alistair Robson is a qualified general (FRCPath) and specialist dermatopathologist (Di-pRCPath) & was consultant dermatopathologist at St John’s Institute of Dermatology, St Thom-as’ Hospital, London, for 14 years following a Clinical Lectureship at the University of Oxford. He now works for London Digital Pathology (LDPath) and is Visiting Pathologist at the national refer-ral Lisbon Institute of Oncology, Portugal. Dr. Robson is an active member of the EORTC cutane-ous lymphoma pathology working group. He is engaged in clinical research and has published over 100 articles, mostly concerning various forms of skin cancer, in peer-reviewed journals, several book chapters, including for the WHO Classification of Skin Tumours. He reviews dermatopathology papers for numerous journals and has served on Editorial Committees. He has over 15 years’ experi-ence of teaching dermatopathology to both dermatologists and pathologists, including the Kings College MSc course, organises teaching seminars in the UK and abroad, and was Chief Examiner for the dermatopathology section of the Asian Academy of Dermatology, of which he is a Founding Member. He was a co-founder of the International London Dermatopathology Symposium and a co-founder and for 5 years co-organiser and teacher on the UK ABC Course in Dermatopathology. He has been an invited speaker and presented research in the UK, elsewhere in Europe, the United States, UAE, Oman, Lebanon, Egypt, Kuwait, Australia, India, Malaysia, and Brazil. He is a member of the International Society of Dermatopathology and Treasurer of the British Society of Dermatopathology. Dr. Robson has recently completed writing the pathology chapter for a textbook on melanoma and is currently writing and editing a textbook of cutaneous lymphoma.

He is also an American Board-Certified Dermatologist and a Fellow of Royal College of Physicians in Canada. He finished his residency training from McGill University in Canada, followed by Fellowship in Dermatologic surgery from Mount Sinai School of Medicine in New York. Ketaki Bhate is a Doctoral Research Fellow at the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine and an honorary consultant dermatologist. Her medical training was at Imperial College and general medical training in hospitals in West London. Her Dermatology and research training was at the Centre of Evidence Based Dermatology in Nottingham. Ketaki’s research and clinical interests are in acne vulgaris in particular its epidemiology and evidence-based treatment.
